Let me ask you a question: who are you? “Me?” I hear you say, “Well I’m such and such, I’m this many years old, my likes include a, b, c.” Yes, that’s all well and good.

Music is a universal constant; there’s a reason that, when NASA sent out the Voyager probe to see what’s out there in this huge, possibly empty galaxy, music was one of things that they included on the big data record that they were hoping any aliens would find.

“Take up that Kentucky incense and smoke it, Bernerd!” the old woman said, pointing to the hand rolled cigarette in the ashtray of the fifty-four Fairlane, “A man of yer age and ya ain’t learnt better than ta’smoke.”

Infidelity brings with it a wave of pain, hopelessness and despair. Dealing with the aftermaths of an affair can be traumatic, for all the three concerned. Though we have read, seen movies, discussed with friends, tried to analyze the causes and effects, the subject continues to evoke a curiosity each time it is discussed.

Every person has a bit of philosopher in him/her and have his/her own a way of philosophy of life to define, look and explore the experiences, feelings, and fundamentals! I have tried to ponder, express the unexpressed thoughts and define my own quote that I follow in my life.

I am an almost 27 year old single woman with no children. I am far more concerned with eradicating the no children part of that sentence than I am with changing the single part. Many of my friends are married. Some are not. I’m at that bizarre stage when it seems like everyone in my life who I was once right in line with are now all off doing different things.

Heroes aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. They’re braver than us, more honest, courageous, understanding, etc. While I’m sure most of us have at one time or another wished that John Wayne would swoop in on a white horse and save us, at the end of the day, they’re pretty boring.

Several years ago, I had a roommate who moved back to her home on the west coast. At the time, I was residing in the Mid-Atlantic. We had packed up her belongings in the weeks leading up to moving day, and, on the morning of the truck’s arrival, used a dolly and man-power to remove it all.

It’s written into the job description contract of parents – “Thou shalt worry yourself sick about your children”. The variables and nuances of this simple-looking statement together run into the thousands.
