I want to be somewhere I am not,
I want to run some place I don’t know,
I want to sleep in peace and have no dreams,
I want to vent my grief in a torrent of tears.

It is funny how you believe everything is fine and deep inside you understand nothing is.
It is funny how you trust your own decisions and at the same time you doubt them every day.
It is funny how you expect things to go one way because you know this is right.

When you were a kid you had this perfect picture in your mind. The picture of how things will be. Of how they should be. When you were a kid you had all the answers. When, how, who? You knew it all. Once you grow up, you still have the picture but the answers are gone.

“Why?” He asked.
“I don’t know… It is…” She fell silent searching for the right word.
“Complicated?” He came to help.
“Well, yes, complicated.”

Sometimes… just really sometimes… you wonder what this other person is doing.
If they are thinking about you?
If they worry about you?

Sometimes we lose. We don’t want to but it happens. We can’t control it but it’s there. We cry about it but it is hardly within our powers to change anything. And then we break down.

From all the mysteries life has gifted us love is the most mysterious mysterybecause everyone has their own answers to the question what love is and yet nobody does. How many times you have been asked about what love is.

How did it happen that we have become so cynical about love? How dare we say that the meaning of love is overrated? Who has given us rights to say “I love you” and then betray someone’s trust, play with someone’s feelings, laugh at someone’s emotions?

“How do I know if this is a true love?” Someone asked me recently. I was confused. Not that I didn’t know what to answer. In fact I answered instantly. I seem to have had the answer for this question since ages. Maybe I knew it all the time. And now was only waiting for someone to ask me.

He looked at her as she asked and could not really figure what her problem was. She was perfect. Her composed face reflected a quiet essence of maturity and confidence.
